Lydiard Millicent School

From our initial site appraisal and concept proposals, planning and conservation area consent was granted, with the development completed Autumn 2011. The development replaces existing mobile classrooms on site and creates a heart for the community, as well providing much needed improvement to the accommodation for the school itself.

With this approach in mind the school entrance and reception gathers itself around two retained oak trees creating a symbolic and literal focal point to the development. As a part of the works an early handover of pre-school facilities was delivered within a refurbished Victorian building adjoining the main site.
